Strava is a running app that can be downloaded for free onto IOS devices that is being used by the XC team to keep track of their runs (as well as other workouts) and cheer on others as they finish too. We HIGHLY recommend getting this app because it’s a great way to keep in touch with running friends and motivate yourself to get on the trail or roads yourself!
Not to mention, Strava is used by the Coaches to see who has earned the Summer Mile Club t-shirts at the beginning of the school year. (TBD on T-Shirts for 2021, but still a great way for coaches to see your off-season training.)
Here’s how to get started:
- Create a Strava account.
- Click on the search icon and change the tab to clubs.
- Search ‘Ann Richards School 2020 XC Team’ and join!
- Start adding your runs everyday! If you have a GPS watch it will automatically upload, if not just add in how long you ran everyday 🙂
- You can like and comment on other people’s runs.
