Summer training!- Lauren B.

My running this summer has been going really well. I have been running 2+ miles every day in my neighborhood and on UT campus. I really enjoy training during the summer although it is very hot outside. I have found that the best time of day to run to avoid the heat is at 7 am. I’m really excited for cross country season and plan to run 100 miles before the end of July. So far I’m on track to meet my goal. It’s been a little hard to keep myself responsible because I have to work everyday but by running with friends I have been able to hold myself accountable.
